About me
Hello — I'm Elin
I photograph weddings the way I'd want mine photographed: from the edge of the room, watching for the moment your dad sees you, the look your friends give each other during the speeches, the two minutes when you finally get to breathe.
I started with my grandmother's camera on the beach at Clevedon and never really stopped. Eleven years and about a hundred and twenty weddings later, the job is still mostly the same: be there, pay attention, don't get in the way, don't make anyone perform.

How I work
Nothing is posed twice. If something needs organising I'll organise it quickly and then let it go.
What you get
Every frame I keep, edited by hand, in a gallery you can share with family on the night.
Who I'm for
Couples who want photographs of how the day actually felt, not a list of shots that has to be got through.
The story so far
2015
A second camera at a friend's wedding
They couldn't afford a second shooter, so I stood at the back of the church with a borrowed 50mm. Two of those frames are still on their kitchen wall.
2019
Full time, and a studio in Stroud
I gave up the day job, took the smallest room I could find on the high street, and started printing everything myself.
2022
Weddings abroad, and a change of heart
A run of destination weddings taught me to carry less: one camera, three lenses, a lot of walking. The pictures got better.
Now
Twenty-five weddings a year, no more
I answer every enquiry myself, usually within two working days. Taking bookings for spring 2027 onwards.
“We forgot she was there, and then the photographs arrived and we cried at the kitchen table. She saw things we missed on the day itself.”
“Our venue was chaos, we were late, it rained sideways — and somehow the album looks like the calmest day of our lives.”
